Saint Hannibal Monuments in the Philippines
St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia known as the Father of the orphans and of the poor was convinced that the only manner in which to receive new vocations was to pray to God with conviction and without ceasing. He discovered the divine command of Jesus: “rogate ergo…”(Mt. 9:37-38) and from then on became the apostle of charity and the apostle for vocations.

Inspired by his spirit, it is our aim to spread the devotion to him and imitate his virtues. Today, several statues of Fr. Hannibal were inaugurated all over the Philippines to invite every Catholics to pray for Holy vocations, to propagate the prayer to obtain workers for the Gospel and to participate in the church’s mission as apostles of charity.
